“European Union Office Beach cleaning”  : bravo to all 300 volunteers who joined us on 6 areas of HK to beat the heat and plastic  pollution !

– 9 beaches were cleaned

– 2 kayak/ paddle teams helped removed trash from beaches we couldn’t access by land

– 1878 PET bottles were removed and part of them sent to recycling with V Cycle

– 900 kg of waste + estimated 500 kg of nets + one fridge and barrels where picked up with the help of Cleanshorelines.

The event was co-organised by the European Union Office in Hong Kong and Macao, Ocean3C and  SLDLP
